UI-RESEARCH FOUNDATION SUPPORTS RESEARCH FOR ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT

The  researchers  at the  University  of  Ibadan  are  working  to produce  tomato varieties  that  are resistant  to  pests  and  diseases. They  are  using  modern  biotechnology  to  produce  bio pesticides  and  develop post-harvest  technologies  to  enhance  economic  value  and  sustainable production  of tomatoes in  Nigeria.
